Edwina L. Rissland is a retired professor of computer science specializing in artificial intelligence. She has been coming to Cape Cod and Martha's Vineyard her entire life. As a photographer, she focuses tightly on form, texture, and color to create painterly images. Besides vibrant scenes of Chappy, her favorite subjects are boats of all kinds and bustling markets. She delights at being up and about at first light, and many of her photos are taken while out exploring at sunup.
